Signature Office Interiors in Abbotsford, BC is now offering the NOKI lock option on many Artopex brand lateral files and storage cabinets.

Here’s how it works.  In the morning, key in the 4 digit code and you’ll hear the mechanism unlock.  Turn the knob and all your file drawers are unlocked and will remain so until you simply turn the knob back to re-lock it.  The lock unit works off a 9-volt battery.  If the battery dies, the unit comes with an accessory cord which connects to a spare 9-volt battery and then plugs into the small hole on the front of the unit to unlock it.

Artopex offers this file lock on numerous metal cabinets including:

• Lateral files from 2-drawers up to 6-drawers
• 2-Door storage cabinets from desk height up to 77″ high
• traditional desk file pedestals

This option only adds $45 to the cost of a cabinet which makes it affordable and a smart investment as a couple of replacement keys alone from any manufacturer will run you that much.

An AC plugin option is also available, taking the 9-volt battery out of the equation.
